Connecticut Politics
Connecticut’s laws are made by a General Assembly of 36 state senators and 151 state representatives, who meet in a regular session each year, and are signed or vetoed by the governor. Voters will also choose the state’s executive officers on November 3, 2026: governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of the state, treasurer and comptroller. This page collects the latest Connecticut political headlines from conservative, policy and local sources, each linked to the publisher that reported it, with CONN explainers below to help you follow along.
